The Council supports the connectivity of pollinator habitats through the ‘Get Bath Buzzing’ campaign, by reducing the frequency of mowing on our roadside verges and encouraging gardeners to let their lawns grow. The Council delivers landscape-scale projects such as Bathscape, WaterSpace and the Somer Valley and is a member of the West of England Nature Partnership (WENP).

Let's Get Buzzing - signs available to mark your local pollinator patch

As a council, we made a commitment to help tackle the Climate & Ecological EMergency. Our teams are busy creating new wildlife habitats in parks by planting new wildflower meadows, habitat, grassland and planting thoughsand ooftrees across the district. Tree Buying Giveaway

The parks team at the council are selling trees at a discounted rate this weekend. Trees are either £5 or £10 & all the money raised goes towards buying more trees for the area.
